Frequently asked questions
No appointment is required. Walk-ins are always welcome. You can also book or check in online to minimize your wait.
Coverage depends on your plan and the service provided. Daystar accepts many major insurance plans and offers self-pay pricing. Use our insurance verification page or call the clinic to confirm your benefits before care.
Most visits are completed within 30–60 minutes. More complex situations may take longer.
An electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) records the electrical activity of your heart using electrodes placed on your skin. A clinician interprets it together with your symptoms and medical history; the test alone does not diagnose every heart problem.
The test itself takes about 5 minutes. Your provider will review and interpret the results during the same visit, so you leave with answers.
Not everyone needs an EKG. The requirement depends on the requesting employer or surgical team, your medical history, and the type of exam. Bring the order or form so the clinic can confirm what is needed.
