Telehealth is for non-urgent concerns only. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, signs of a stroke, thoughts of self-harm, or any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Controlled substances & in-person care

Our provider does not prescribe controlled substances (such as many ADHD, anxiety, or pain medications) through telehealth. These require an in-person visit. A government-issued photo ID is verified at the start of your visit.

No. Controlled substances — including many medications for anxiety, ADHD, or pain — are not prescribed through telehealth. These require an in-person visit, and our provider will tell you if that is needed.

Telehealth is not right for every situation. If your provider determines you need hands-on care — an exam, a lab draw, or an EKG — they will direct you to our Forest Park clinic or another in-person option. Daystar is a real brick-and-mortar clinic, not an app-only service.

Yes. Your visit and records are handled under HIPAA. Please review our Notice of Privacy Practices. Do not send personal medical details through website chat.
