What disqualifies you from a DOT physical?
Certain uncontrolled conditions: BP over 180/110, insulin-treated diabetes without exemption, seizure disorder without seizure-free period, vision below 20/40, and others.
How often do I need a DOT physical?
Every 2 years if healthy. Every 1 year if you have hypertension (Stage 2) or certain controlled conditions. More frequently for some cardiac or metabolic conditions.
