Absolutely. Strep evaluation is one of the most common things we do: a rapid antigen test from a quick throat swab gives results in about 5 minutes, and a positive result means antibiotics are prescribed before you leave.
If the rapid test is negative but suspicion remains high (especially in children), a backup culture confirms within 1–2 days. We also provide work and school notes — most patients can return 24 hours after starting antibiotics, once fever-free.
