Knowing what we DON'T treat is part of treating you honestly. Urgent care is the wrong place for chest pain or pressure, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, uncontrollable bleeding, major trauma or head injury, seizures, overdose or poisoning, and mental-health crises — every minute matters in those situations, and the ER has the resources urgent care doesn't. Call 911 rather than driving when symptoms are severe.

Urgent care also isn't a substitute for ongoing specialty care — chemotherapy, surgery, chronic pain management programs, or conditions that need a specialist's long-term oversight. What we CAN do is bridge you: evaluate the problem today, treat what's treatable, and route you to the right next step with documentation in hand.

That honesty is the point — walk into Daystar and you'll get real care or a real answer about where to go instead.
