The biggest DOT physical misconception: the urine test is not a drug screen. The FMCSA urinalysis checks specific gravity, protein, blood, and glucose — screening for kidney problems and undiagnosed diabetes that could affect driving safety. Employer drug testing is a separate process with separate chain-of-custody requirements (which we also provide, but it's a different test).
